Introducing our latest technology: the WEEKE Vantech 480 Concept 2 nesting CNC router! We know that’s a mouthful to say, and maybe it has you scratching your head, but bear with us. We’ll explain.

Our production workflow has been at or near capacity for quite a while. While this is generally a great thing (at least for us), it meant that orders you may have placed with us took quite a while to complete, depending on the size of the order and where it fell in the job queue. While we had a lot of second generation milling equipment, we still had to do manual loading of materials and moving between machines. This slowed down the production line at times.

Introducing our latest technology: the WEEKE Vantech 480 Concept 2 nesting CNC router! With automated material feeding, and multiple function operations, this equipment cuts down on machining time, assembly time, and labor costs. With it, our production flow is streamlined, and our productivity increases.

We knew we needed a better solution – one that would get your projects completed faster while maintaining the high quality fit and finish for which we are known. And, while the current machines were state of the art several years ago, today’s next generation equipment is another leap forward. We evaluated all of the options out there, and after much searching, we found this machine to augment the existing equipment, adding more capacity and speed.

With the addition of new software, labelling and bar coding, we can now send computer code directly to the machines, improving accuracy. With automated material feeding, and multiple function operations, the new Vantech 480 CNC cuts down on machining time, assembly time, and labor costs. With it, our production flow is streamlined, and our productivity increases.

We’ve spent several of the past weeks installing the machine and learning how to operate it to maximum efficiency. With it up and running, we still build the high quality custom cabinets you want, just faster and more precisely. And remember, the machine is a tool, albeit an expensive and sophisticated one. Osburn still has the craftsman, who do the customized millwork needed for both our residential and commercial customers.

That means you get your beautiful, high-quality, custom cabinets and architectural millwork faster and better.

And that makes us all happy.
