Osburn creates custom architectural millwork for Two Rivers Convention Center remodel

September 23, 2019

As the renovation project for Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction nears completion, Osburn Cabinets & Design is proud to contribute to its fresh new look with a variety of architectural millwork projects.

Working with Chamberlin Architects and FCI Constructors, Osburn custom manufactured the rift sawn red oak architectural wall panels and Fry Reglet millwork posts as accents between the panels for the main lobby and hallways. Also built with rift sawn red oak are the slat walls to give the hallways added depth and interest. For the ceiling, the architect specified unique accent shapes as 3form Varia sails. In the main ballroom, we built the drapery pockets that will help provide the desired acoustics when complete. And in the restrooms, Osburn provided and installed the Corian quartz basins and mirror trim to create a classic, durable look.

Two Rivers Convention Center is one of Grand Junction’s most important community assets, and Osburn Cabinets & Design is pleased to be chosen by Chamberlin Architects and FCI Constructors to help make it a facility the community can be proud of!
